Admin Newsletter
Write a February 2025 newsletter from Mrs. Smith, Lincoln Middle School principal celebrating the end of the first semester and celebrating students who made the academic honor roll. Also congratulate the student council for their successful food drive and the basketball team for their undefeated season. Upcoming events include parent teacher conferences on Feb. 25 from 4:00-7:00 pm (sign up using the link teachers sent in a separate email), open house for 8th graders to learn about the high school on March 5 at 6:00 pm at Jefferson High School, registration for next year courses starts March 1, and music concert March 15 at 6:00pm in the auditorium. Remind parents to make sure they keep money in their student's lunch account to avoid negative balances. Also remind parents of upcoming construction at the middle school starting in April that will impact the parking lot and student drop off procedures. More information will be coming as construction begins.
Sub Plan
Create a sub plan for a geometry class on different types of triangles for a substitute teacher that does not know how to teach math concepts. Students do have access to a textbook and their laptops. If students will need their laptops for this lesson identify appropriate websites or resources needed for the lesson. Include that emergency information can be found in the folder on the desk. There are three students with special needs who have a paraprofessional with them for support.
Progress Report
Write a narrative progress report for Emma, a creative 2nd grader who reads above grade level and enjoys expressing herself through art, storytelling, and singing. She is well-liked by her peers for her kindness and willingness to help students by being a peer role model. Emma is working on building math fluency and can be frustrated when she gets incorrect answers. She can be hesitant to share her ideas in group settings. Include strategies for Emma to work on her areas for growth.

Lewis and Clark's Wisconsin Adventure Handout: Create a handout with 2 paragraphs about each of the key points in Lewis and Clark's Wisconsin journey. Include information about: - Their arrival in what is now Wisconsin - Important rivers they encountered - Native American tribes they met - New plants and animals they discovered - Challenges they faced in the Wisconsin landscape Include definitions of key vocabulary terms at the end of the resource.
Unit Plan
Create a unit plan for a grade 7 science unit on agriculture and weather. Include a unit summary. Write key learning targets aligned to Wisconsin state standards and an essential driving question for the unit. Additionally, include key vocabulary and summative assessment strategies for the unit. List what students should know and be able to do by the end of the unit.
Resource
Create a detailed resource to explain how to use polynomial identities to solve problems. After explaining how to use polynomial identities, provide five problems for students to solve independently.

Create a presentation on the rate of change of momentum in AP Physics 1. Include opportunities for students to practice concepts and discuss.
