Upcoming events include parent teacher conferences on Feb. 21 from 4:00-7:00 pm, registration for next year courses starts March 1, and art show starts March 8. Remind parents to review the course guidebook posted on the website to help their students select courses for next year. Parents should note new courses available in the art and music program. Counselors are also available for parents and students to meet and plan future coursework.
Progress Report
Write a progress report for Stephen, who is a curious and energetic 7th grader who thrives in hands-on learning and group activities. He excels in science and technology, often taking the lead in experiments and projects. Stephen’s natural curiosity drives him to ask insightful questions and explore new topics in depth. He has a strong sense of humor, which helps him connect with peers. Areas for growth include improving his organizational skills, as he sometimes struggles to keep track of assignments and deadlines. He is working on his written communication, particularly in structuring essays and using proper grammar. Stephen is sociable and enthusiastic but can occasionally get off-task.

The student is currently reading at a Level H (Lexile 350) in texts and struggles with comprehension. The student is a kind, hard-working child.
