What Is Be An Author Month?

March is basically a literacy power month—we’ve got National Reading Month, Listening Awareness Month, and March into Literacy Month all rolled into one. That makes it the perfect time to help students tap into their creativity, develop their voices, and craft something meaningful.

This year’s theme? Telling Your Story. Whether it’s through writing, drawing, coding, video, or audio, every student has a unique perspective worth sharing. Be An Author Month is all about giving them the tools—and the confidence—to do it.
