Frequently Asked Questions

What is Brisk Next?
Brisk Next is a teacher hub where you can get smart recommendations, generate content, assign Boost activities, and organize everything in one place.
How is Brisk Next different from the Brisk extension?
The Brisk extension lives in your browser and works across tools like Google Docs and YouTube. Brisk Next is a centralized part of Brisk, where you can see insights, create multiple resources, and manage activities — all in one spot.
What kinds of recommendations will I get?
You’ll see content tailored to your grade level, subject, standards, recent activity in Brisk, and the time of year. You can also upload files or prompts to generate even more specific resources.
Can I use Brisk Next with Microsoft tools?
Yes. You can create and edit Brisk resources inside Word, PowerPoint, and OneDrive. Some features, like Bundles, are currently limited to Google files but more is coming soon.
What if I leave a Bundle or activity — can I find it again?
We’re adding a “Recent” page that will let you easily access your latest Bundles, activities, and podcasts. For now, use your Drive to find anything you created.
Is Brisk Next free?
While the Next feature is in Beta, most Next features are free for individual teachers though content generation limits will apply. Premium features — like student tracking, admin tools, and selecting standards — are part of our school and district plans.
How does Brisk protect my data and privacy?
Brisk never tracks activity unless you’re actively using it. It only reads the content you choose to work with and deletes it after generating a resource. We comply with FERPA, COPPA, and other key K–12 privacy standards.
