Write a February 2025 newsletter from Mr. Jones, Washington Elementary School principal celebrating the 100th day of school and expressing gratitude for all of the parent help during the Valentine’s Day classroom parties. Upcoming events include parent teacher conferences on Feb. 25 from 4:00-7:00 pm (sign up using the link teachers sent in a separate email), Pancake Breakfast on March 1 from 8:00-10:00 am, music concert March 10 at 6:00pm at the high school auditorium. Remind parents that the book fair will happen during parent teacher conferences and they should consider purchasing books from teacher wish lists for classroom libraries. Also remind parents to be careful when dropping students off at school. There have been too many near accidents and student safety is paramount.

Include an essential driving question, key vocabulary, and summative assessment strategies for the unit. List what students should know and be able to do by the end of the unit.
Progress Report
Write a narrative progress report for Emma, a creative 2nd grader who reads above grade level and enjoys expressing herself through art, storytelling, and singing. She is well-liked by her peers for her kindness and willingness to help students by being a peer role model. Emma is working on building math fluency and can be frustrated when she gets incorrect answers. She can be hesitant to share her ideas in group settings. Include strategies for Emma to work on her areas for growth.

The students has difficulty with abstract thinking and problem-solving making math difficult. The focus academically and socially is on life skills as the student becomes a young adult.
Sub Plan
Create a sub plan for a culinary arts class where students cannot make any food for safety reasons. Do not have the sub plan cover kitchen safety. Create any resources needed or link to a website if needed. Note that emergency information is in the folder on the desk.
