How English Teachers Use Brisk:

Create a Rubric for a Student Choice PBL:

  1. Get started by opening a new Google Doc. 
  2. Click on the Brisk extension and select "Create."
  3. Select  "Rubric" to begin.
  4. Be super specific about your rubric criteria- this will get you better results. 
  5. Choose your grade and point scale.
  6. Finalize by clicking "Brisk it!"

Feedback for a DOK 4 Informative Paper:

  1. Begin by opening the student’s paper
  2. Click on the Brisk extension and opt for “Give Feedback”.
  3. Choose the feedback style that suits your students. 
  4. Upload the rubric and select the grade level. 
  5. Finalize by clicking “Brisk it!”

Data Driven Instruction On Setting and Symbolism:

Tracking insights to student needs 

  1. After you have given feedback on a class set of an assignment, open the Brisk extension
  2. Click the bar graph in the upper right corner. 
  3. Review strengths and growth opportunities
